This story expands upon the mythology created in the original "Star Trek" series and in the film "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn", involving a violent race of genetic supermen.
"Cold Station 12" -- With the help of his genetically engineered creations called Augments, brilliant criminal Dr. Arik Soong (guest star Brent Spiner) and his superhuman "children" break into a secret scientific outpost to steal thousands of Augment embryos, and threaten to release the deadly pathogens stored on site if anyone impedes their plan to build an army, on Star Trek: Enterprise, Friday, November 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. Mike Vejar directed the episode from a script by Alan Brennert. This arc expands upon the mythology created in the original Star Trek series and feature film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn, involving the violent race of genetic supermen who caused the Eugenics Wars on Earth.
Meanwhile, Archer and the crew search for clues to Dr. Soong's whereabouts on one of the planets where he raised some of the Augments, leading them to find one of the doctor's less perfect children, abandoned by his siblings.
